Indie developers to release Left4Dead parody

Start up development team, Rampant Studios, is preparing to launch its first game.

The UK-based team, comprised of students, is gearing up to release 28 Carrots Later, a parody/ homage to Left4Dead. Initially, at least, it will be a free download.

Project leader, Danny Goodayle, said in a release: "we are releasing this as a free game without any profit for ourselves as we feel involving money on our first project will lead to unnecessary pressure to deliver a grade A game.

"We are all students without professional experience in the area of game development, however we have a strong passion to learn and will, with the help of this project gain a better understanding of how things within the games industry work."
