3D engine developer, Stonetrip, has launched a new community Website to provide customers with additional development resources.
Stonetrip is the company behind ShiVa. In the past months, it has added support for Wii, Palm webOS, Android and iPad to the ShiVa engine – which already supported iPhone, PC, Linux, Mac and browser-based applications.
To date, there are 22,000 license developers working on the ShiVa 3D platform.
CEO of Stonetrip, Philip Belhassen, said in a release “as more people find out about the power and ease-of-use of the platform, as well as our single license program, we know that we need to also have the best resources and tools outside of ShiVa 3D for the community. The new community site will fulfil that need as we grow the engine and show the world what ShiVa can do.”
The new Website includes forums, tutorials, a wiki, blog, documentation and downloadable code samples. Additionally, members will be able to contribute videos and other media.
