The deal comes as part of a partnership between Codemasters and morpheme developer, NaturalMotion, that will see the deployment of morpheme across certain titles in Codemasters’ future portfolio.
In a release, CTO of Codemasters, Bryan Marshall, said “the morpheme engine and tools enable fast and compelling content creation, driving Bodycount’s explosive animations to new heights. morpheme integrates perfectly with our EGOTM Game Technology Platform, ensuring that we hit our targeted quality levels in terms of visuals and animation efficiently.”
The morpheme engine is available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PC and Apple iPhone. The engine has a number of high-profile customers, including Ubisoft, Disney, THQ and Bioware.
