Capcom has a new European and American CEO, as the developer and publisher reels from a horror quarter.
According to a report on Nintendolife, the new Capcom CEO and President of CE Europe and Capcom U.S.A is Kazuhiko Abe.
The news comes soon after Capcom made the announcement that it suffered a June quarter profit drop of 90 per cent.
In a release, Capcom Co. Ltd. chairman, Kenzo Tsujimoto, said "Abe-san has proven to be an invaluable asset to Capcom... His experience of over seven years with Capcom can only benefit the operations in North America and Europe and strengthen the relationships between the Japanese and Pan-Western territories."
Prior to joining Capcom, Abe held positions at The Mitsubishi Bank and telecommunications service provider Hikari Tsushin. He has been with Capcom in senior roles since 2003.
